Honeymoon in England

Everything in London was amazing to get to see. Big Ben, the London Bridge, Buckingham Palace...I loved it!

Eating real fish and chips was a unique experience. As you can see from my face, the vinegar was a bit tangy.

Had to have my picture taken in a classic telephone booth.

Bradford-on-Avon was one of our favorite cities.

Being silly in South Hampton.

  1. Stefano made a dream of mine come true when he took me to England for our Honeymoon. We were able to spend nine relaxing days not having to worry about anything and just getting to spend time alone together. Thanks to the help of some generous angels, Stefano and I were able to stay in some beautiful Inns as we traveled and saw the sights. Our first city was Winchester. We had one of the largest rooms in the Inn and we were minutes away from the cathedral and the center of town. We enjoyed going on walks together and exploring the local attractions. We were able to see Jane Austen's home, see King Arthur's Round Table, and we got to spend time in South Hampton with Stefano's old mission companion.

The next city we stayed in was called Bradford-on-Avon. It was a quiet little city on a hillside with a river running through it. On our way there we stopped to see Stonehenge. We were also able to visit the cities of Bath and Bristol during our stay in Bradford. We saw the play "Much Ado About Nothing,", ate real "fish and chips," and I attempted to eat an unusual green apple particular to southern England (very bitter!) We had a blast!

Our last few days were spent in London. There was so much to do and see in this fantastic city. Big Ben, the London Eye, the London Bridge, the Tower of London, the Globe Theater, Westminster Cathedral, and Buckingham Palace. Our last night was my favorite because we were able to see "The Sound of Music" at the London Palladium. Overall, it was an amazing trip.
